Cookie Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Quit Path uses only what it needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of you, and we do not share browsing data with third parties.
1. Strictly necessary storage
Authentication: when you sign in, your session token is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. Without it you would be logged out on every page load.
Security: our platform sets cookies to protect against cross-site request forgery and abuse.
Preferences: small values such as whether you've dismissed a notice are stored locally in your browser.
These are strictly necessary for the service to function, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they do not require your consent.
2. Payment cookies
When you open the checkout or billing portal, Stripe sets cookies needed for payment processing and fraud prevention. These are set by Stripe under its own cookie and privacy policies, and only when you visit a payment page.
3. Cookies we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social media pixels. No cross-site tracking. No third-party behavioural analytics that profile individual users.
If we ever add optional analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items will sign you out and stop parts of the app from working.
